Strong friends

This is way off beat from my intial goal of this blog but had to get it off my chest. Since it seems to happens if not once a month or every other month. I have to say I am surrounded by great, strong, loving and amazing friends. It amazes me how some people are so strong when it comes to life's tragedies. I have friends that have lost their husbands so early in life but have to carry on for their children and be strong. Or the friends that have children that become ill and come close of losing their lives. They show no break down at least not around the child or to close friends. That would kill me and I would be an emotional wreck, so I guess God planned out my life right; I am weak and way too emotional - so no kids or husband. I feel so much resepect for my friends on how they handle the situtation and over come with results of happiness and gratefulness. God Bless them ;)

First blog

Well, I am new here and starting off.....
Unfortunately I am still at work but had the time, so I figured to set this up and get things rolling.
I look forward sharing my concerns and interests here, the plan is to do a photo blog by posting at least one photo per day. Also expressing the ever changing world we live in; also as I mention in my profile documenting the changes in Arizona which doesn't have much architectural history. Where as in Brooklyn; after visiting in 2007 seeing a major changes (had not been back there since 1991) in my old neighborhood I grew up. I feel the house I lived in is the only few homes on my street is left from my childhood memories. I am not one for change and love the old architecture buildings. But I guess also living out here in AZ most of my life seeing the Phoenix metro area grow so fast - I realized I hate changes or feel it is wasteful. Example: they build a brand new shopping center in your neighborhood put in that grocery store as an anchor of the shopping center with other tentants like a nail shop, pizza place or mailbox & more. But then after a few years they close out the grocery store to move to the newest locale 5-10 miles away. Sometime they fill that vacancy with another store like a Dollar store or a cheapy grocery store but it is not the same. I would say 80% of AZ strip malls are run down or vacant, it is so sad.
So I will show you what I mean in the up coming days, weeks & months!!
Have a great night !
